↓IL-1β, ↓CX3CL1, ↓gliosis of DRG, ↓hyperalgesia "These data provide evidence that LLLT reverses CCI-induced behavioral hypersensitivity, reduces glial cell activation in the DRG and decrease pro-inflammatory cytokines; we suggest that this involvement of glial cells can be one potential mechanism in such effect.
